Hey folks!!!!
Its Christmas time! I just love christmas you know!!!! Food, family, movies, friends, gifts, christmas lights, christmas music!!!! It IS the most wonderful time of the year!!!!!!
I know there has been a serious commercialisation of Christmas, but thats neither here nor there. EVERYTHING is commercial these days, Births, Deaths, Weddings! So all we need to do is just take from it what we find good! I have listed some of the good bits above! The rest we can just dis-regard!
So to everyone out there in the world. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!! Hope you all have a SAWEET time!!!

Tell me, what is the true meaning of christmas? Is it to celebrate the birth of Jesus? How can it be, he wasn't even born at this time of year!! The real event occurs on the 21st/22nd of december. This is the Winter Solstice or Yule. Celebrating the re-birth of the God and when the Days begin to grow longer and start to take over the darkness. Everything we do in preparation for Christmas is actually Pagan!!! Decorating our homes, wreaths on our doors, food, yule logs (traditionally not chocolate, but an actual wooden log)....Even though I do celebrate the pagan festival, I do like to spend some quality time with my family whom I don't see too often, having fun, eating my mum's lush Christmas cake which is sooooo moist with a whole bottle of cherry.
So tell me, what is the true meaning of christmas? Does anyone know? Either way, I wish everyone a very merry one and a prosperous New Year!!!!!

Well my friend, I am not a Christian, so all I do is view it as a family thing! I subscribe to the part of giving and recieving presents, I kinda see the spiritual aspect of it too... So like I said, you should take from it what you like and ignore the rest. Your right about it being a pagan festival too.. Just enjoy what you want to enjoy!!!
